Secretary
(Irrigation), Irrigation Department, Government of Maharashtra is the
President of the Institute which is headed by the Director General, who is
of the rank of Secretary to Government from the Irrigation Department. A
Governing Council headed, by the Institute’s president is responsible
for policy- decisions. The Director General is assisted by a Joint Director looking after the
administrative matters pertaining to training, research &
administration
Training is imparted by highly qualified, experienced and well-trained faculty members. WALMI has five faculties for training and research:
