Objectives of Institute

The main objectives of the Institute are :

• To provide in-service training of interdisciplinary nature to staff engaged in irrigation water management and land development in irrigation and agriculture departments.
• To undertake action and adaptive research pertaining to water resources project commands.
• To provide consultancy services, production of training materials (in print and electronic media), conducting seminars/workshops and organizing farmers’ training programmes.
